Summary
Was apprehensive at first with this as it seemed like an amateur tool. However if you have your orbital out and doing paint correction and run across a scuff that needs removed then this works great and uses the same pads I run on my PC. I have removed some pretty decent scratches and then went back to the orbital and it looked fantastic.
Summary
This tool when used on a cordless drill, with the appropriate 4" pad makes quick work correcting "random incidental damage" scratches, polishing headlights, or taillights, and can be used in smaller "hard to reach" areas.
Summary
It's perfect for polishing small areas. I only do personal vehicles and this is great for polishing motorcycles. Works as it should and made getting perfect paint out of a few parts I painted easy.
Summary
I use this with a orange cutting pad. For the deep scratches that can't be taking out with my DA! It's like a mini rotary. I love this little tool!! I recommended it
Summary
Had a chance to use this backing plate this morning, was initially skeptical about using a drill after have used large rotaries for major correction in spot areas, but using this backing plate with a 4" foam cutting pad did awesome in removing scratches and 2000 grit sanding marks.
